Clinique is the American cosmetics line founded by Estée Lauder in 1968, the first to be allergy-tested and dermatologist-driven. Its first fragrance, Aromatics Elixir, came in 1971; its best-seller is Happy. Also: Happy Heart, Aromatics in White.
